Dive the slack,
not the schedule.
On a current-swept site, the difference between a great dive and a bad one is thirty minutes of timing. Every dive site page in DeepSix Dive Log carries a conditions planner: pick a day up to a week out and get the tide curve, the slack-water windows, the strongest-current times, and the weather — before you book the boat.
Seven days of conditions, one site page.
Tap "Get 7-day forecast" on a site and the planner builds a week of context: a per-day selector with a weekday and weather glyph, the tide curve for the selected day, and a daily outlook — air temperature high and low, wind with gusts and direction, and precipitation — merged alongside the tides.
It's deliberately fetch-on-demand. Nothing is requested until you ask, so forecasts are fetched for the sites you're actually planning, not for every page you scroll past.
The curve is data. The windows are the answer.
A tide chart tells you when the water is high. What a diver needs to know is when it's moving. DeepSix does the reading for you: it finds the slack-water windows around each turn of the tide — the calm you want for a wall, a wreck penetration, or a nervous buddy — and the peak-flow times you want for a screaming drift, or want to avoid entirely.
Slack and peak times are listed alongside the curve, so "let's splash at 9:40, not 10:30" is a decision you can make from your phone the night before.
A free estimate for everyone. An accurate one when it counts.
The planner draws on two providers, and is honest about the difference.

Free by default. Fair when it counts.
The station-grade WorldTides forecast has a real per-call cost that somebody pays, so it settles into three honest paths:
The planner never goes dark. Every user keeps the free tide estimate and weather outlook on every site, no strings.
Add your own key and the app talks directly to WorldTides — you're billed by them, at their rates, with no DeepSix middleman and no markup.
Support DeepSix with a Patron purchase and high-accuracy tides come included as a thank-you, served through the DeepSix tide relay — no key, no separate account.
If that structure sounds unusually un-greedy, that's on purpose — the reasoning is written up on our pricing philosophy page.
The billing key never touches your phone.
Patron-path requests go through the DeepSix tide relay, which holds the WorldTides billing key server-side — it never ships inside the app, where any curious tester could extract it. The relay also caches by site and date at the edge, so when two divers plan the same site for the same day, WorldTides is paid once, not twice.
BYOK requests deliberately skip the relay and go straight to worldtides.info, so your usage is billed to you and only you. What the relay sees and stores is spelled out in our privacy policy.
When's slack water on Saturday?
Open any site in DeepSix and ask. The free estimate is on every site; the station-grade forecast is your own key or a Patron purchase away.
