Support

The app is most direct.
Discord and email work too.

DeepSix Dive Log is on the App Store, and TestFlight continues for testers who want the next build first. We respond to every report.

Report a problem in the app

The most direct path is built in. Use Report a Problem in DeepSix — or "Report a Problem with This Dive…" on a specific dive to bundle that dive's full record. The app builds a diagnostic bundle, shows you exactly what's in it, and Submit to DeepSix sends it straight to our diagnostics receiver.

API keys and personal data are redacted on your device before anything is sent. Adding an email address or Discord handle is optional — include one only if you'd like a reply. See DeepSix-operated services in the privacy policy for exactly what the receiver stores.

Best for: bugs, import problems, dive computer trouble — anything where the diagnostic data tells the story better than a description can. Dive-computer connection failures don't even need this step: when a connection fails outright, the app automatically offers to generate and send a diagnostic with the connection's pertinent details. For anything short of an outright failure, any of the channels on this page works.

Discord

Join the DeepSix Discord for fast, conversational support and to talk to other DeepSix divers.

discord.gg/dtxADFqSUY →

Best for: quick questions, sharing screenshots, "is this a bug or am I doing it wrong," feature suggestions, dive computer compatibility reports.

Email

For longer reports, attached diagnostic bundles, or anything you'd rather not post in public:

[email protected]

Best for: detailed bug reports, import problems with sensitive data, anything where you want a written record.

We aim to respond within 48 hours. If it's been longer, please nudge us — sometimes email gets buried.

TestFlight feedback (testers)

If you run the TestFlight build, you can also submit feedback directly through the TestFlight app: open DeepSix Dive Log in TestFlight, scroll down, tap "Send Beta Feedback." This sends a screenshot, your message, and basic device info straight to us.

Best for: in-the-moment bug reports where a screenshot tells the story.

Diagnostic bundles

If we ask you to send a diagnostic bundle:

  1. Open DeepSix Dive Log → Settings → Diagnostics
  2. Tap "Generate Diagnostic Bundle"
  3. Review what's in it
  4. Tap "Submit to DeepSix" to send it directly — or share it yourself via the share sheet (email, Files, AirDrop, Discord upload)

Diagnostic bundles never leave your device automatically. You decide what to share and when.

Reporting a dive computer compatibility issue

If your dive computer doesn't connect, doesn't download, or downloads incomplete data, please include:

  • Computer model and firmware version
  • iOS / iPadOS / macOS version
  • Whether the computer pairs in iOS Bluetooth settings
  • The exact error message (or "no error, just nothing happens")
  • A diagnostic bundle if you can generate one

We're actively expanding BLE coverage. Real-world reports from real testers are how we get there.
